Shared seat via Pheriche and Hotel Everest View
Seat: Shared helicopter
Most helicopter flights here stop at the hotel. Who pays for the breakfast differs from listing to listing.
The short answer
Breakfast at Hotel Everest View is part of most Everest helicopter itineraries here, but it is rarely part of the price: several listings say it costs extra or is not included, one names the breakfast without saying who pays, and others list the hotel stop without mentioning breakfast at all. The hotel stands at 3,880 m according to its own website, above the Syangboche airstrip. Like every landing in the Khumbu, the stop happens only when the weather allows it.

From the Viator listings, checked in November 2026. Fees and weight limits are given as the listing states them; kilograms are converted. The length of the whole trip is the operator's figure.
Hotel Everest View is about two hours on foot from Namche Bazaar according to its website, which gives the height as 3,880 m and names two ways in by helicopter: the Syangboche airstrip, about 45 minutes on foot from the hotel, and the hotel's own helipad. Itineraries name either Syangboche or the hotel, and some both. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal lists the Syangboche airstrip at 3,748 m and as not in operation, so ask the operator where your helicopter will set down if the walk matters to you.
Where a listing says the breakfast costs extra, you pay at the hotel or to the operator on the day, on top of the online price, together with the national park fees that many listings name. Ask the operator how to pay. If a listing says nothing about breakfast, ask before you book; do not assume it is included.
Some flights stop only at Pheriche and the hotel. If you also want to stand on Kala Patthar, pick a flight that lists both; the landing points page shows which ones do. A mountain flight by plane does not land, so there is no hotel stop at all.
The listings make every landing in the Khumbu depend on the weather on the day, the hotel stop included. A flight can wait for clearer skies or move to another day. See weather and cancellations for what the listings promise and what they do not.
